Although a background in finance is not required, we do ask that applicants demonstrate the following attributes:

An Introduction to Capital Markets
Module 1 — Foundations
Designed to give you the financial grounding you'll need to start your career in Capital Markets, this module provides a broad overview and basic understanding of Capital Markets, Banking Infrastructure and Investment Banking Operations.
This module explains the client lifecycle and trade lifecycle within investment and retail banking. It delves into the 2008 financial crash and the regulations that ensued as a result of it; their ongoing existence being indicative of the seismic impact the crash had on every element of global banking and trade.

Building your Knowledge of Finance and Capital Markets
Building on Finance Foundations, this module aims to give you more in-depth knowledge of banking and finance to ensure you can hit the ground running in the industry.
This is a deep dive into commodities, trade securities and commercial lending, and also gives an overview of shadow banking and cryptocurrencies, including their implications on the wider marketplace. In addition, Advanced Finance further explores anti money laundering, fraud and terrorist financing.
