Testimonials
Sylvia Ingle
Assistant Vice President
As a ‘seasoned’ student having completed General Representative Exams in both UK and USA, I was immensely impressed with the quality and depth of the Capital Markets Foundation Course material. As well as being a great refresher course for me, it extensively covered not only the timeframe and events leading to the Financial Crisis of 2008 but also the context of it. Thanks to expertly explored ESG modules, I now have the confidence to discuss these subjects in professional and social settings. I will be interested in taking future courses with the London Banking Academy.
Kevin Sotchoua
Foundation Course alum
I found great purpose in achieving a certificate of completion of my LBA Capital Markets Foundation Course. The time taken to learn the impacts of the financial crisis of 2008 then comparing it to other crisis such as the Covid pandemic, gave me a great understanding of all matters and a boost of confidence when discussing these factors in social or professional groups. No words to describe a more brilliant way to get a foot into Finance.
Henry White
Associate Consultant
The LBA helps individuals who didn’t study a finance/business-related degree or those who just want to brush up on the finer details. Completing a course like this highlights your weaker areas and allows you to work on them before going for an interview, helping give real-world knowledge and bulk out your CV.
Michael Parsons
Foundation Course alum
The Capital Markets Foundation Course with the London Banking Academy has helped me gain valuable knowledge in Capital markets and the current state of the political and economic climate to build foundations for future learning. The flexibility of the course allowed me to be able to balance a busy schedule as well as completing the foundation course.
Alex Berry
Assistant Vice President
The Foundation Course provided me with a thorough understanding of the workings of Capital Markets and the context of the financial systems we operate in. The instructors were knowledgeable and experienced professionals who were able to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. The course material was well-structured, and the online platform was user-friendly and easy to navigate. The course covered a wide range of topics and I appreciated the real-world examples and case studies which helped me to understand the practical applications of the concepts being taught. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to expand their knowledge of Capital Markets and improve their career prospects.

Delta Capita has bred an excellent opportunity which nicely coincides with their notoriously brilliant onboarding services which they have perfected over their years in industry. As an apprentice, the LBA is a fascinating course. Having been unsure about attending university, the LBA provides a fantastic pathway into the world of finance, making it more accessible for those who want a career change or want to enter the world of banking in a unique and highly reputable way.
Megan Osborn
Associate Consultant
As a graduate from a humanities background, having a basic understanding of finance would have allowed me to develop skills I’ve never had the chance to study before and would have supported me with the transition into the highly competitive financial services world. The LBA is an excellent alternative for this.
Tom Stringer
Senior Consultant
As an ex-military employee of Delta Capita I understand the requirements to successfully transition out of the Army into Financial Services. One of the key areas of focus needs to be understanding your industry and closing the skills gap to enable you to become efficient and deliver for the client as soon as possible. The LBA provides you with this opportunity. There are many courses available to those transitioning out of the military but nothing quite like this. This is effectively a “must have” qualification to set you up for success in the financial services. You would not accept second best in the military, so don’t contemplate it in your new civilian career.
Henry Hughes
Consultant
The LBA is a great opportunity for people looking to break into the finance industry to grow their understanding of the sector. The course covers a multitude of topics, without sacrificing attention to detail, and provides a solid foundation of knowledge to help people feel confident in pursuing a career in finance.
Victoria Sedlak
Senior Analyst
The Capital Markets Foundation Course has been a great opportunity to equip myself with fundamental financial knowledge, that’s easy to understand and very engaging. This not only has given me more confidence when going onto new projects but has also given me an introduction to concepts I haven’t had the opportunity to learn before in my higher education.
